About the Board The Board of Trustees is a bridge between administration, hospital staff, and the community they serve. They provide a vision for quality healthcare to Buchanan County for today and years to come. The Board meets the third Tuesday of each month at 8:00 a.m. These meetings are open to the public. Board members include:
	Ben Riensche, Chair The current board Chair and member since 2001, Ben is a farmer in the Jesup area.
	Connie Brown, Secretary Connie is the current board Secretary and a member since 1994. She is the owner of Connie's Hallmark in Independence.
	Lans Flickinger, Treasurer Lans is the curent board Treasurer and has been a member since 1994. He is an Attorney at Law in Independence.
	Dolph Leytze, Trustee A current board Trustee and member since 1979, Dolph is the Chairman of the Board at Bank Iowa.
	Anne McMillan, Member Anne McMillan is a Independent Executive Contractor for Pampered Chef. She, her husband and children make their home in Independence.
