The Buchanan County Health Center Outpatient Clinic began operating in June 1984 when Dr. Leland Hawkins from Cedar Rapids first offered services in orthopedics. From the beginning the clinic's goal has been to provide patients with top-quality, specialized care in a convenient, comfortable setting, clost to home.

| The beautiful and well-equipped clinic facility opened in 2003. It includes seven spacious exam rooms, two procedure rooms, two central desks and a lovely waiting room. A generous gift toward the construction of the clinic was made in memory of A.G. & Katie Kegler by their family. In 2010, the hospital underwent a remodeling project at which time another central desk, three exam rooms, and an additional procedure room were added. The clinic is staffed with a full-time manager, Amy Van Scoyoc, MA, a full time medical assistant and a part time RN to help physicians as needed. For more information about the clinic call 319-332-0950.
