How long does a bone density test take? Approximately 10 minutes. Why do I have to fast for my gallbladder ultrasound? The gallbladder is filled with fluid and empties out when you eat a meal. When will I get results from my test? You doctor will call you a few days after your test. Is there a radiologist at BCHC? No. BCHC has digital radiology so the radiologist is able to review your images in Cedar Rapids. The radiologist comes to BCHC 2 days each week to perform procedures.
